Indirectness can be directly connected to politeness and relevance maxims. Sometime, indirectness indicates the pragmatic intention in language. In this paper, we are to analyze the indirectness in the Asterix and Obelix story : Asterix and Obelix All at Sea. The dialogues in the comic are the data that we analyze. I put ten samples to be analyzed.
